Tasia A. Jones is a professional director, performer, and theatre educator.

Artistic Mission

Tasia's artistic mission is to create civic engagement and conversation through theatre and to promote positive societal change at the individual and community level. She prefers theatre that invites people to think critically, feel deeply, and speak freely.

Teaching Philosophy

As an educator Tasia sees herself as a facilitator of thought and learning. She promotes brave spaces over safe spaces, where students are encouraged to enter challenging discourse and work through discomfort with respect for each other's personhood. She enjoys mentoring students inside and outside of the classroom. Theatre practice is best learned through active engagement.
